Leys Leisure Facilities
The Sports Centre contains our Sports Hall, squash courts, state-of-the-art gym facilities, indoor cricket lanes and a variety of teaching rooms.
Sports Hall
Our sports hall measures 38m x 19m in size, and has floor markings for the following sports: Badminton (5 courts), Volleyball (2 courts), Football, Hockey, Basketball, and Netball. We also have 4 table tennis tables. The cricket gallery can be hired as a spectator area if required for big events, subject to availability.
Squash Courts
Our squash courts consist of three glass backed courts. These can be hired on a casual basis, or as part of a membership. Guest fees apply if a member brings a guest.
Cricket Gallery
Our indoor cricket nets are available for hire year round. We have two lanes available in the cricket gallery, which have recently had the nets replaced. The bowling machine may be hired in addition to the lane, however proof the an ECB Level 2 coach is present will be required to do so.
Swimming Pool
Our 25m four-lane indoor swimming pool is available for group hire. It is maintained at 29’C and is staffed by RLSS qualified lifeguards for all usage. The pool can be set up in lanes, widths, waterpolo or just a clear pool. We also offer children’s swimming lessons, adult 1-to-1 lessons and lifeguard courses.
