Food

Here at The Leys we recognise the importance of a good balanced diet to support the growth and development of the pupils. Breakfast, lunch and supper are served in our Dining Hall.

Our menus are done on a three-week rotational basis and changed each term to remain seasonal.

The Head Chef ensures that the menus are varied to include main meals, vegetarian, jacket potatoes with a choice of fillings, freshly prepared deli rolls, salad bar with protein toppings, fresh fruit, yoghurt, hot and cold desserts. The majority of what we offer is homemade on site using locally sourced ingredients, including MSC certified fish.

We also take great consideration to produce speciality meals using specific ingredients for those children who have medically prescribed dietary requirements.

Leonardo Clementi, our Catering Manager, ensures the food is of the highest quality by working closely with all our suppliers and visiting their premises to confirm they meet the required standards and our expectations.
