What are the arrangements for pupils joining Year 7 or 8 in September 2027?

September 2027 will be the final Year 7 intake based at the current site of The Leys and only Day places will be available in Year 7. Boarding and Day places will be available in Year 8.

Applicants will be assessed at The Leys in January 2027, with offers made in February.

These pupils will remain based at the current Leys site as they progress through the School and WILL NOT move to the St Faith’s site in 2028. There will be opportunities for Year 7 and 8 pupils at both campuses to join for shared activities during this period.

What are the arrangements for pupils joining Year 7 in September 2028?

From September 2028, Year 7 will form part of the Middle School and pupils will be based at the St Faith’s campus. Testing will take place through the Middle School admissions process. No boarding places will be available in the Middle School.

What are the arrangements for Year 7 entry in 2029, 2030 and 2031?

Year 7 pupils will join the Middle School at the St Faith’s campus. Applications and assessments will be managed through the Lower and Middle School admissions process. Year 7 will remain a Day entry point.

Will entry into Year 8 be possible?

Entry into Year 8 may be possible where places are available. Any exceptional Year 8 entry will be considered through the relevant admissions process. From 2028 assessments for Middle School entry in Year 7 or Year 8 will take place at the current St Faith’s site.
