Great Hall at The Leys is one of the largest conference facilities in the centre of Cambridge (up to 337 delegates), suitable for a wide range of events including conferences, seminars, and exhibitions. Great Hall is situated at the heart of The Leys 50-acre city campus, within one of England’s premier independent schools.

The Leys is centrally located, close to all major road links including the M11 and A14, and is only a short walk or taxi from Cambridge train station.

Gold Package

Arrival

  • Tea, coffee, water, bacon/fried egg baguette, yoghurt & granola pots.

Morning Break

  • Tea, coffee, water & confectionary stand.

Lunch

  • Bowl food buffet, homemade cakes & fruit salad OR 2 course counter lunch. Water & orange juice.

Afternoon Break

  • Tea, coffee, water & afternoon tea.

Catering will be provided by Chartwells during term time and on selected school holiday dates. All food and beverage supplied for your event will be sourced locally where possible and we will be able to accommodate your dietary requests.

During school holiday periods, we primarily work with Tom’s Kitchen Bespoke Quality Catering and will be able to share with you their corporate catering menu on request.

Facilities and Equipment

When hiring Great Hall, the following items are included within your rate:

  • Oak lectern and computer table.
  • Large screen, 4m x 3m.
  • Digital Projection E-Vision 10K laser projector (HDMI).
  • Windows laptop (“Guest” access only; clients are welcome to bring their own IT equipment).
  • PA system, with lectern microphone.
  • Basic stage lighting on lectern area.

 

In the breakout rooms, ‘G31’ and ‘G32’:

  • Large screen with USB-C docking station.

 

In the Middleton Studio (or can be moved into other rooms):

  • Large moveable screen (HDMI).

 

Our technician will be on hand throughout your event to set-up and assist with equipment as required.

Great Hall is our Performing Arts Centre. The venue is suitable for a wide range of events including theatrical performances, music concerts, lectures, exhibitions, holiday courses, rehearsals and conferences.
