Requirements: We are looking for a registered part time School Nurse to join our Medical Centre. We are looking for a committed, motivated and flexible applicant who will enjoy working with young people. The role is varied and includes minor illness and injury work, chronic illness management, health promotion, immunisations and trip planning. Nursing experience within a school, general practice or A/E would be advantageous. Good communication, organisational and IT skills are essential. We are looking for somebody who can cover alternate Saturdays 09.30 – 20.00 (term time only) and then be on call to provide cover until 10.00 Sunday. The salary for this role is based on the NHS Pay Structure. Benefits include free lunch, NMC fees paid, free parking and use of the School Sports Facilities (subject to terms and conditions).
