The Leys School Named in Top 100 Schools in the Country
The Leys School has been named in the top 100 independent schools in the country by The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide 2025, achieving the 92nd position.
This is our highest ranking as far back as The Sunday Times has records and, we believe, is very likely to be the highest ranking the School has ever received in the Parent Power Guide.
The guide is widely acknowledged as the most authoritative survey of the country’s top schools. As well as an assessment of all academic results on a school-by-school basis, Parent Power enables parents to compare the performance of a given school with other schools in the same town, local authority, or nationally.
The fully searchable national database of over 1,000 schools by name, local authority, town, and postcode, is available online here.
Head of The Leys, Martin Priestley, commented: “I am incredibly proud of what the school has achieved in recent years. Being named East Anglia’s Independent School of the Year by the Guide in 2024 was a significant achievement, and now reaching our highest ranking on record is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire school community. This public recognition of all that goes on here every day would not be possible without the commitment of our colleagues, pupils, and the wider school community.”
