Telephone campaign success
Thank you to everyone who took part in the telephone campaign by chatting to our student callers, and a particular thank you to everyone who decided to make a gift to support the Gift of Education campaign.
The calling team very much enjoyed speaking to Old Leysians and parents. In the words of Kitty, “My favourite part of the campaign was hearing all of the stories about The Leys from Old Leysians. I had the opportunity to speak to many interesting people and got some good life advice!”
The kind generosity of Old Leysians and parents in the campaign will help young people from low-income or unstable backgrounds to attend The Leys on 110% bursaries and benefit from the life-changing opportunities at the School. Grace commented, “I think this camapign is such a crucial initiative, and working as part of it has been massively rewarding. The good thing about it is the impact it has on the lives of disadvantaged children – but also the ripple effect it has on the communities they come from.”
