Paul Crossfield Remembered
A Service of Thanksgiving was held on Saturday 23 April to give thanks for the life of Paul Crosfield. Paul’s family, friends, pupils and colleagues gathered in the Leys Chapel to remember this warm-hearted and inspiring man, whose kindness and good humour brought so much to those around him.
Paul, Director of Studies at The Leys from 2010 to 2019, passed away in April 2020 peacefully but suddenly. A musical memorial has been created in his name, to honour his life and to reflect his character and interests. The Paul Crosfield Choral Scholarships will allow talented young singers to develop their passion for music, including the chance to sing alongside the world-renowned Choir of Trinity College Cambridge.
