Music Scholars Perform
The Music Scholars’ Concert was held on Monday this week, with a fantastic range of performers who took the audience around the world with a variety of instruments – and even down into the Underworld!
The concert began and ended with wonderful alto saxophone solos (James M and Lucas K), and also featured piano (Elliot H, Angel Y, Sienna H and Caspar L), flute (Bonnie B), voice (Fiona M and Sonia M), cello (Alex H) and brass (Jacob C on the trumpet and Oscar S on the trombone). The pieces took listeners from the starry dome of the night sky, through summertime gardens, into the Underworld with Orpheus.
