Looking back at Lenten Giving

Each year it is wonderful to see the whole school community coming together to raise funds for a variety of causes. This year was no exception with the annual Lenten Giving appeal raising more than £4000 for the chosen House charities.

Each House took part with initiatives such as selling hot chocolate, cakes, sweets and doughnuts at various points throughout the year, as well hosting events such as Fen House’s Bingo Night and Dale House’s Quiz Night, all raising vital funds for causes such as East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, Mercy Ships and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Special mentions go to North A House who raised an impressive £200 for Romsey Mill through their 3-a-side football tournament, and to West House who raised £365 for The Ruth Strauss Foundation with their evening of musical entertainment, ‘Pitch it Up!’.

This year’s appeal culminated with our first ever Giving Day, which raised a further £23,000 for life-changing 110% bursaries.

Thank you to everyone who supported this year’s campaigns.
