Choral Evensong with Selwyn College
On Tuesday 10 May, The Leys Chapel Choir joined forces with the Choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge, for Choral Evensong.
Directors of Music Max Kenworthy of The Leys and Sarah MacDonald of Selwyn shared the conducting of the service, which included Canticles in B flat by Stanford, Preces and Responses by Joanna Forbes L’Estrange and ‘Greater love hath no man’ by John Ireland.
This was a wonderful collaborative occasion, and the choirs enjoyed well-earned pizza and ice cream together after the event.
