The opportunities I enjoyed at The Leys, both educational and as part of what is now the ‘wider curriculum’, set me on the path for my career to follow. The values the School promotes today, of decency, kindness and generosity, are those which I recognise from my own time, and remain extremely important.
I would wholly support The Gift of Education Campaign that will benefit students from all walks of life because I think a Leysian education is such a benefit. While the academic lessons are important, The Leys’ distinctive strength is enriching the lives of its pupils in a well-rounded way. This sets the School apart from others, and I remain proud to be an OL today.
