School Site Warden

Salary £13.24 per hour

(Fixed Term Contract to 01 September 2025)

We are seeking a temporary Site Warden to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time, temporary position with contracted hours from Monday to Friday, 16:00 to 22:30, and alternate weekends working onsite and on-call. For a full description of the required hours, please see the Job Description.

This role is responsible for building and general site security. When working onsite, you will conduct full site patrols, check and secure the buildings at the end of the night, control traffic and parking, and act as the Emergency Services liaison as required. Full training will be provided in the various security and fire alarm systems. Responding to alarms and managing incidents will be key responsibilities.

Single occupancy school accommodation is available during alternate weekend shifts, with the possibility of extending to the entire contract period (Monday to Sunday) based on individual need and availability. Supper (when the dining hall is open) is provided as part of the remuneration package (subject to terms and conditions). Please note you will need to be able to reach the school within 20 minutes when on call.
