Choir sings Evensong at Trinity College
The Leys Choir, which has had the honour of singing in several of Cambridge's historic colleges over the years, sang Evensong in the beautiful chapel of Trinity College on Wednesday (January 31).
The singers, 30 pupils and four members of staff, sang Ayleward's Responses, Attwood's Psalm 142 chant, and Murrill's Canticles in E. The anthem was the Evening Hymn by Balfour Gardiner. The organist was Simon Kirk. The Organ voluntary was the Prelude in C minor, BWV 546 by J S Bach. The conductor was Max Kenworthy, Director of Music at The Leys.
The Headmaster read the first lesson and co-Head Chorister Charlotte S read the second lesson.
