Transforming young lives through boarding Bursaries.
The Leys has a long tradition of providing bursaries to allow pupils from all backgrounds to study at the School. Building upon this legacy it is our ambition that the Gift of Education will support two pupils in each year group of the School with fully funded 110% bursary places.
Current Gift of Education bursary places filled:
The Royal National Children’s SpringBoard Foundation (RNCSF) is The Leys’ partner organisation in our ambitious challenge to offer fully funded bursary places allowing disadvantaged or vulnerable pupils to access the opportunities provided by a Leysian education.
As a social mobility charity, RNCSF works closely with community partners, schools, and Local Authorities to identify children who will benefit from the unique opportunities that a boarding school education offers. With a 96% retention rate we are confident they are able to match us with the most suitable pupils who will thrive and succeed here at The Leys.

We know the Covid-19 crisis further reinforced existing educational attainment gaps. Two years on, many schools are still dealing with the long term impact on child mental health and school attendance. The impetus is stronger than ever – for those of us who can – to help create opportunity for young people who would benefit from the education we provide here at The Leys and to support them in their aspirations for the future.
Become part of the Gift of Education by making a one-off or a regular gift today. We are particularly grateful to those who make a regular commitment, standing by a pupil throughout their years at The Leys.
