School Shop Assistant

Part Time, Salary £11.45 per hour

43 weeks per year

We are looking to recruit a School Shop Assistant to support with the day to day running of the School Shop. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work with an exceptional team in our friendly and unique setting.

We are open to pupils, staff and parents and sell stationery, toiletries, and treats. In addition, we run a busy uniform fitting and supply service and a key part of this role will be meeting new pupils and their families and helping them purchase all their essential uniform and kit.

The role will include some manual handling of boxes and deliveries, processing payments, restocking shelves, while providing excellent customer service. Full training will be provided although previous sales experience would be an advantage.

Hours are variable. As a guide, we are looking for somebody with the flexibility to work Tuesdays & Thursdays during term time and then to work additional days during the school holidays.
