Learning Support Teacher (Trainee)

Part Time (20 hours) – Permanent Post – Starting September 2023

We are seeking a Trainee Learning Support Teacher to help create a stimulating environment and support our pupils in making excellent progress across all areas of their development. Using effective observation, assessment and planning, you will teach literacy and study skills lessons to pupils with additional needs so that they can fully access our curriculum.

As part of your role, you will also spend approximately 6 hours per week working as a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with specific SEN needs. We are interested in hearing from candidates who may already be working at Teaching Assistant level or who have other relevant experience or qualifications which would support a move into a career in Learning Support. This is an excellent opportunity with full training and the opportunity to gain a recognised SPLD Level 5 qualification.
