Events Manager
Salary £34,248 per annum
We are seeking an experienced Events Manager who will be responsible for the planning, organising & operation of both internal & external events at The Leys School. You will be responsible for the promotion of commercial hires at our Music School, manage our external Language School bookings in the school holidays, and provide Duty Manager support during events. You will bring your outstanding organisational and customer service skills to this varied and commercially important role.
Your normal hours of work will be based upon working 37.5 hours per week (excluding unpaid breaks) over a 52-week period. Working hours will primarily be Monday – Friday 8.00 am – 4.00 pm, in person, working the occasional evening and weekends relevant to event requirements. Some flexibility is required. We anticipate this role will start in April 2025.
The school holiday year runs from 1 September – 31 August each year. Your annual holiday entitlement will be 36 days (28 and 8 bank holidays). Three weeks of your annual entitlement should be taken during the school holiday period. There is flexibility for the remaining holiday entitlement to be taken at an appropriate time during term time on request.
