Housemaster of Barker House - Mr Gavin Deudney (Maths)
Barker House is one of the three day houses at The Leys School - some may say that it is the best! It was opened in 2005 as the result of splitting the old day house North B because of the size to which it had grown. It has a little over 40 boys and girls from year 9 to the upper sixth form. Pupils have a wide range of talents. We have some excellent academics (to try their best, is all I ask), fantastic sportspersons, brilliant musicians and those accomplished in all spheres of the theatre. We also try to develop our skills in new areas. Pupils not only work at developing these talents, pupils also care about each other. We are a house that knows how to work hard, play hard and generally have a great time. Most importantly we know how to get the balance right!
