School House

Housemaster : Tomos Reed
Assistant Housemaster: Neil Dix-Pincott
Matron: Alison Phillips

School House is the senior House of the School dating back to 1878. It houses 50 - 60 boy Boarders and Homeboarders between the ages of 13 - 18. It is situated opposite the Science building and adjacent to the Old Gym.

School House's current residency was taken up in 1989, before which it occupied what is now Dale House. It has recently been refurbished with a plasma television, pool table and leather sofas.

The emphasis in School House is placed upon individual achievement in all fields to benefit the collective. In recent years School House has won the inter-house Rugby, Hockey and Football, regaining the prestigious inter-house shield. The sense of community is strong thanks to regular House events, such as School House's well-known Burns' Night celebration.

Thanks to its smaller numbers and more immersive environment, School House succeeds in producing well-rounded and motivated individuals.
