Key role for James

James Albery (Year 10) helped the England Under-16 boys’ hockey team to win the bronze medal at the Four Nations Tournament.

He played in all four matches, which were held at the National Sports Centre in Lilleshall, Shropshire, and was Captain in one of the games against The Netherlands.

England beat Spain 3-0 and then lost 1-5 and 0-2 to Germany and The Netherlands respectively but earned revenge over the Dutch with a 2-1 win in the bronze medal match.

As well as being a junior international, James plays club hockey for Cambridge City.
