Christmas concert

The Leys Christmas Concert was a showcase for the many and varied musical talents of the School.

The programme encompassed many styles, from blues to waltz, traditional carols to salsa. The first half comprised the smaller ensembles, with the larger ones playing in the second half of the concert. Among the highlights were a first performance by the Ukelele Group and the School Orchestra's rendition of the Overture to The Pirates of Penzance (Sullivan) and a scene from Swan Lake (Tchaikovsky).

The Jazz Band, Flute Choir, String Quartet, Clarinet Group, Brass Group, Chamber Choir, Wind Band and the String Orchestra also performed, and William Jackson played the harp.
