Sun and snow for skiers

The Italian resort of Aosta was the destination for a party of skiers and snowboarders.

Accompanied by seven members of staff, the 41 youngsters from Year 8 upwards enjoyed sunshine and blue skies for most of the week. The group, led by Peter White, Director of The Leys Sports Academy, spent four hours a day at ski school but still found time for extra-curricular fun, including ice-skating, bowling, a pizza night and a disco.

Head of P.E. Cate Brocklehurst, who went on the trip, said: "Everyone was very well behaved and we all had a great time."
