Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme
During their time at the School, pupils have plenty of opportunity to develop outdoor skill and participate in adventure training. In Year 9 pupils take part in an outdoor education trip to Derbyshire where they receive preliminary instruction in expedition planning, campcraft and navigation.
From Yr 10 pupils and through to Yr 11 pupils have the opportunity to gain both a CCF qualifcation and a DoE award. This takes place every Wednesday.
