To apply to The Leys, please complete and return the Registration Form together with the registration fee of £100.
Registration forms are available from the Admissions Office: firstname.lastname@example.org (Please note that the registration form is not currently available online.)
Once a registration has been confirmed, the appropriate arrangements will be made to assess each candidate.
For applicants to Year 9, the Day and Home Boarding categories usually close well in advance of the entrance tests. You are strongly advised to check with the Admissions Office.
Once registrations have closed, you may still apply and sit the entrance tests. However, this will be classified as a late registration and an offer cannot be made until everyone on the waiting list has been contacted. Late Registration also applies in cases where the registration form has been received, but the registration fee has not been paid.
Six months prior to taking entry tests (held in early January) you will be required to pay a £600 Entry Fee. This will be requested in July and, should an offer of a place be made, it will be held against the pupil’s final account on leaving. Should a candidate fail to reach the required standard for admission to The Leys, this fee will be refunded. Applications received after July will be required to pay the £100 Registration Fee and the £600 Entry Fee together.
