Past President, Cambridge Chamber of Commerce. Trustee, Arthur Rank Hospice 1999-2005. Member Lord Chancellor's Advisory Committee since 1997 and Chairman South Cambs Sub-Committee since 2004. Member Charity Fundraising Committee of the Fund and Friends of Addenbrookes. Elected Governor in 2006.
Read Natural Sciences (Materials Science) at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge. Currently Leysian Missioner at Wesley's Chapel and Leysian Mission. Appointed by the Methodist Council in 2014.
Studied Biological Sciences (Hons Botany) at the University of Liverpool and completed PGCE at S. Martin's College, Lancaster. Taught at Brentwood School, Essex (1979-84). Appointed as Head of Biology at The Leys School (1984). Subsequently served (at various times) as Assistant Housemaster of Fen and West Houses, Housemaster of North B House (on its conversion to the co-ed Day House), Officer Commanding CCF, President of Common Room and, latterly, Director of the Wider Curriculum. Coached rugby and athletics - and participated as a D of E Supervisor and Assessor. Retired in 2016. Currently a Governor at Waterbeach Community Primary School, a volunteer within the Learning Section at Wicken Fen NT Reserve and a volunteer instructor at St Ives Open D of E Award Group. Married to Susan (Maths Teacher) with children Rob and Gail (both Old Fidalians/Old Leysians). Elected Governor 2017.
Former parent - son and then daughter who was in the first intake of girls at The Leys. Exeter University (Spanish and French). Teacher: initially taught languages in a large comprehensive and then general subjects in prep school. Most recently Head of 4th year and Head of History at St John's College School, Cambridge. Lives near Cambridge. Governor with responsibility for child protection at St Faith's. Elected Governor 2002.

University of St Andrews MA (Hons) English Literature, Post Graduate Diploma in Theology, University of Middlesex (St Mellitus), Price Waterhouse (trainee Chartered Accountant), Currently Managing Partner of CNC – an international communications agency. Plus, separate consulting business advising schools including a number of high profile private schools on a variety of media issues. Ordained Minister in the Church of England. Elected Governor in 2016.
The Froebel Institute Roehampton University, London (Cert Ed Primary Education). Previously, a KS3 special needs teacher at Kennington Secondary School, London, then moved to Garden House School, Chelsea to be an EYFS and KS1 class teacher. Later roles at Garden House School included Headmistress at Garden House Boys School, then Pre-Prep Headmistress. Now retired. Governor at Holy Trinity Primary School, Chelsea, Governor at Handcross Park, Sussex, Trustee of Roedean Scholarship Fund, Trustee of Roedean Mission Fund, Trustee of The Giving Tree Foundation, Autism, and Educational Consultant for Llewellyn Education. Elected Governor in 2016.
Old Leysian (1986-1988) (Head Girl). Bed (Hons) degree at Oxford Brookes University (Education and French). Taught at The Banda School, Nairobi, Kenya (1994-1997). Taught at St John's College School since 1997. Positions at St John’s included Class Teacher, Head of Year 4, Teacher of Games, French and Geography. Attended several choir tours, including ones to Europe and the USA. Since 2012, taught part-time at St John’s as a Librarian, Art Teacher and Wardrobe Mistress for school plays. Elected Governor in 2017.

Previously Managing Director of UK Retail Sales at BlackRock, Director of Lazard Asset Management and Sales Manager at Sedgwick Noble Lowndes. Current parent of The Leys. Old Leysian (Fen 77-82). Governor since July 2012. OL Committee member from 2010 and Governor with special responsibility to oversee The Leys Development Office. Honorary Secretary.
Mrs Graves' professional life has been based in social care, initially as a VSO in the Solomon Islands working with Women's Clubs followed by a degree in Social Science at Middlesex University. Employed by Barnardo's to develop work with Churches Acting Together in providing support and accommodation for young vulnerable adults. An MA in Social Work from Goldsmith's, University of London followed by 15 years as a Mental Health Worker based in Community Mental Health Teams. Former member - Methodist Schools Board of Management. Former parent of The Leys. Retired. Currently Church Steward at Wesley Methodist, Cambridge. Appointed by the Methodist Council in 2014.

Newnham College, Cambridge (Economics and Law). Previously Associate Solicitor at Allen & Overy, London. Since 1998 Solicitor & Company Secretary at Websters, a tax, legal, accounting and financial planning practice based in Cambridge, specialising in private client and tax planning advisory work. Formerly Vice President of Newnham College Roll (Alumnae) Committee and since 2013 Newnham College Associate. Former parent of The Leys. Elected Governor 2015.
Old Fidelian. Old Leysian (B and F 63 - 68) Managing Director Kidman & Sons Ltd. Played Rugby for Cambridgeshire and Eastern Counties. Served as a Magistrate on the Cambridge Bench 1985 - 2000. Member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Cambridge Rutherford. Secretary of the Old Leysion Benevolent Fund. Governor with special responsibility for Health and Safety at The Leys and also sustainability. Elected Governor 2006.
Attended St Faith’s (Cambridge) and Kimbolton schools. MA in Modern Languages at Jesus College, Cambridge. Various posts held such as Product Manager for Clarksons Holidays, Sales Manager for Inghams Travel, Sales and Marketing Director for Global Holidays, Commercial Director for Travelscene Holidays, then owner and Chairman of Kirker Holidays until 2002 as well as owner and Director of The Grand Touring Club until 2005. Now retired. Former Chairman of AITO (Association of Independent Tour Operators); former Chairman of the Oxford and Cambridge Club, London; current Trustee of the Oxford and Cambridge Club; current Trustee of Jesus College Cambridge Society; current Committee member of the Oxford and Cambridge Club; current Committee member of the Garrick Club; current Member, Turner Schools. Elected Governor in 2016.
Read mathematics at Balliol College Oxford and joined the Mathematics Department at The Leys in 1973. Involved in coaching rugby, rowing. cricket and squash. Worked with Stephen Siddall to set up The Leys Arts Festival. (HsM East '78-'92). Previously Headmaster of Kings School, Gloucester. Has served as Chairman of the Gloucester Cricket Festival, on the Area Child Protection Committee and on the regional Learning and Skills Council. A seasoned ISI inspector. Elected Governor 2008. Vice-chairman of Governors.
Educated at George Watson's Ladies' College in Edinburgh and trained at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh Nurse Training School. Held various posts from Staff Nurse and Ward Sister, to GP Surgery Practice Manager and Practice Manager to a Consortium of Surgeons. Co-opted as Governor 2007.

Previously Headmaster at Wellingborough Prep School (2004-2015) and member of staff at St Faith’s (1986-2004). Appointed Teacher Representative for St Faith’s in September 2016. Elected Governor in 2016.
Newcastle University, Chemical Engineering. Former Royal Warrant holder. Worked 20 years in Leather Manufacturing and worldwide Import/Export business. Last 10 years has been spent running a specialist, award winning Veteran Car restoration company. Trustee and Director responsible for Investments and Vice Chairman of John Huntingdon's Charity (2006-2008). Former parent of The Leys. OF and OL (East 70-74). Elected in December 2013. Ex-President of the Old Leysian Society (OLS) and Chairman of the OLS Committee.
Partner in Chartered Accountants Peters Elworthy & Moore based in Cambridge, specialising in family owned businesses, including farms and medical practices. Attended Hatfield Polytechnic reading Business Studies. Former pupil of East House (78-83). Current parent of The Leys and former parent of St Faith’s. Treasurer of OLS and OL Benevolent Fund. Member of Gog Magog Golf Club. Elected Governor in 2016.
In circuit ministry for the last nineteen years, Rev. Pursehouse has served in the following places - Long Eaton, Peterborough and Otley. He is a senior Methodist figure in East Anglia and exercises oversight over fifteen circuits and seventy ordained Methodist presbyters. Appointed by the Methodist Council in 2015.
Attended St Faith's. Old Leysian. Read history at Queen's College, Oxford. Trained as a chartered accountant with Baker Tilly becoming a partner in 1987. Chairman of Unwins Seeds. Four children educated at St Faith's and The Leys. Member of Old Leysian Society (OLS) Committee 2002 to date. Chairman of the Finance Committee and Investment Committee. Elected Governor 2004.
University of Leeds (English & Theology), Anglia Ruskin University/Cambridge Theological Federation (Pastoral Theology). 3 years as Methodist Lay Chaplain to International Students (London) plus varied part-time experiences to pay for sixth form and university studies (cleaning, fruit & veg shop, music shop, housing advice). Trained on the ecumenical Eastern Region Ministerial Training Course. Since 2003 a Methodist Presbyter Minister (Harrow & Hillingdon Circuit, St Albans & Welwyn Circuit, Tuscany Circuit - Florence, now minister at Castle Street & Haslingfield, Cambridge Circuit). Appointed by the Methodist Council in 2015.
